DirectPointe Buys Security Software Firm
Lindon, Utah-based DirectPointe said this morning that it has acquired Mesa, Arizona-based Sweet Spot Solutions (S3). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Sweet Spot Solutions makes software which resides an a portable, USB flash drive which can be used for two-factor authentication on virtual private networks (VPNs). DirectPointe said the company gains both technology and people with the acquisition. DirectPointe is a provider of IT outsourcing for small and medium businesses.
