Westminster, Colorado-based RFID reader firm SkyeTek said today that it has scored a win with Gaishan Technology, a manufacturer of products for the visually impaired. SkyeTek said that Gaishan will use SkyeTek's RFID technology to enable a portable audio player for those with partial or total vision loss. Financial terms of the win were not disclosed. SkyeTek, which develops RFID readers, software, and other technology, is venture backed by Appian Ventures, Grotech Capital Group, Palomar Ventures, Sequel Venture Partners, and TD Fund.
