High Throughput Genomics Raises $10M
Tucson, Arizona-based High Throughput Genomics said late Monday that the firm has raised $10M in a Series C funding, for the firm's gene expression assay technology and services. The round was led by Merck Capital Ventures, and included Solstice Capital, Valley Ventures, along with new investor Arcturus Capital. High Throughput Genomics said the funding will go towards expanding its research and product development efforts. HTG is developing technology used for molecular diagnostics and proteomics. Harry George of Soltice Capital will become Chairman of the company as part of the funding.
