CoCreate Adds Manufacturing Customer
CoCreate Software Inc., a publisher of product lifecycle management applications for high-tech electronics and machinery, reported Tuesday that the Optima Group has licensed CoCreate's OneSpace Model Manager for its worldwide enterprise. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Optima Group manufactures packaging equipment for pharmaceutical, consumer and non-woven goods. The company employs more than 1,000 people in Germany, the United States, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, France, South Korea and the United Kingdom. CoCreate explained that the Optima Group plans to form an integrated PLM environment by combining its SAP system with CoCreate's OneSpace suite. With its corporate headquarters in Sindelfingen, Germany, CoCreate Software bases its North American operations in Fort Collins, Colo.
