Orem, Utah-based Omniture announced its results Wednesday afternoon, saying that it had $33.5M in revenues for the second quarter, compared with revenues of $18.8M a year ago, a 78 percent increase in revenues over Q2 of 2006. Quarter-to-quarter, the firm showed a growth of 15 percent. The firm said that it added more than 300 new customers in the quarter. Despite the revenue increase, the firm said it had a net loss of $4.1M for the quarter, which compared to $2.3M in loss from the similar quarter a year ago. Omniture is a provider of web analytics software and services.
