Digital media content delivery network Limelight Networks revealed Monday that it has been chosen to host content for the PC-gaming utility GameShadow. Based in Oxfordshire, U.K., GameShadow is a downloadable application that provides users with access to patches, demos, trailers and other gaming content. Limelight said GameShadow, which boasts more than 750,000 registered users, originally hosted its own content, but that arrangement proved less than ideal. Now, GameShadow users are automatically connected to Limelight's servers, Limelight said. Financial size of the deal was not disclosed. Limelight Networks is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona.
