Limelight Networks Expands In Japan
Tempe, Arizona-based dmedia content delivery network Limelight Networks announced Monday that it has created a Japanese-based subsidiary. Limelight said the new company, called Limelight Networks Japan Inc., will provide Limelight's digital content delivery network services to Japanese customers and partners. Shinji Tsukamoto will serve as the Tokyo-based firm's president, Limelight said, saying that Tsukamoto is a veteran of Japan’s Internet media and advertising industry. Prior to joining the company, Tsukamoto served as senior director of Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions, and has also served with Critical Path Japan and Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
