Zorch Inc., a developer of enterprise software for the life sciences industry, has been acquired by First Consulting Group Inc., FCG reported Monday. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, although FCG said it is acquiring 100 percent of Zorch's outstanding equity for a lump sum cash payment. FCG said Zorch stockholders could earn additional cash if the business achieves predetermined revenue and earnings goals during a four-year earn-out period. FCG added that Zorch will operate as part of the Long Beach, Calif.-based company's life sciences business unit. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Zorch's products are based on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server platform and used to manage regulatory content and submission management.
