Orem, Utah-based Omniture has signed on Denver, Colorado-based eBags as a customer of its TouchClarity business optimization software, the company said Wednesday. eBags will use Omniture's web analytics and behavioral targeting technology to optimize its home page content. Omniture's software is used by e-commerce providers to target content to web site visitors and to drive sales. According to Omniture, the firm's software will be used by eBags to create custom targeting of products to repeat visitors; currently, visitors to eBags all receive the same home page. eBags is an online retailer of luggage, bags, and other products.
