Verio Releases Backup Service
Internet hosting provider Verio Inc. reported Wednesday that its PC Data Backup service is now available to viaVerio business partners. The backup service, which operates over the Internet, is targeted at small- to mid-sized businesses. Verio said PC Data Backup guards against the threats of computer viruses, malfunctions, malware intrustions and computer hacking. The new service is immediately available and, for a limited time, the first month of service is free to resellers. Verio Inc. is a provider of managed hosting services based in Centennial, Colo.
