Broomfield, Colorado-based OpenLogic has tied into an IT services provider in Japan, K.K. Ashisuto, the firm announced late this morning. The firm, which provides software and services for managing open source software packages, said that it will provide support to Ashisuto customers for hundreds of open source packages. Terms of the strategic partnership were not disclosed. OpenLogic provides enterprise support for a wide range of open source software, and is venture backed by Appian Ventures, Highway 12 Ventures, Red Rock Ventures, UV Partners, and Village Ventures.
