Forum Systems Inc., a developer of service-oriented architecture and Web services security software, revealed Wednesday that it has released a Payment Card Industry Digital Security Standard module that complies with updated standards. The company explained that organizations relying on credit card payments must convert to PCI standard 1.1 by mid-2008. The updated regulations demand additional protection of Web applications in the form of application code reviews and Web application firewalls. Forum said its new security module, Forum APS, will help organizations comply with those new PCI DSS requirements. Forum Systems is headquartered in Provo, Utah.
