ManiaTV To Broadcast Concerts In Second Life
Denver, Colorado-based ManiaTV! and Tantra World Wide said Tuesday that they will simulcast a live music concert in 3D in the popular online virtual world Second Life. The event, dubbed the "DV8-Live Cyber Festival," will be the first in a series of cyber concerts the companies will produce. The concerts will be available both on Mania TV and in the Second Life virtual world, for free. The event will feature comedian Jamie Kennedy, star of "Kickin' It Old Skool," plus musical acts Born in the Flood, Meese and The Photo Atlas. Second Life is a popular online virtual world that allows people to create their own virtual characters and chat and interact with other players. ManiaTV operates a live Internet-based television network.
