NewsGator Upgrades Enterprise Server Platform
RSS software developer NewsGator Technologies Inc. updated its flagship NewsGator Enterprise Server platform, the company reported Monday, adding new Web 2.0 AJAX-based reading capability to the firm's popular RSS reader. NewsGator said that Enterprise Server 2.0 will offer several new features, including an AJAX-based Web reader, improved reporting tools and feed-reading plug-ins for Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime and Microsoft SharePoint 2007. RSS is a set of web standards used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or podcasts. NewsGator Technologies is headquartered in Denver.
