Arizona, Utah Tap Google to Bolster Web Search
Arizona, Utah and two other states have partnered with Google Inc. to make searching their official government Web sites a little easier for the general public, Google announced Sunday. The company said the new agreements originated from a need to make the information contained on those Web sites easier to find when using a search engine. To achieve this, technology managers in four states have increased the amount of information that is accessible through a Google search. As a result, Google said, job seekers in Utah conducting an employment search will now find postings from the state's Department of Workforce Services.
