OpenLogic to Offer Free Open-Source-Scanning Software
Boulder, Colorado-based open-source software developer OpenLogic Inc. will release a free tool that helps enterprises inventory the open-source applications installed on their computer systems, the company revealed Monday. Called OpenLogic Discovery, the new product will locate open-source software on various platforms and then return a detailed inventory. The Broomfield, Colo.-based company said Discovery, which should be available for download in June, will assist enterprises with open-source management and compliance issues.
