Infopia Ties Into eBay
Infopia, a developer of ecommerce platforms has integrated the firm's software with eBay Giving Works, a feature of the popular eBay online auction that enables merchants to process charitable donations, Infopia announced Tuesday. The company said that vendors using its product now can use "cause marketing" — a marketing method that connects businesses with relevant non-profit organizations — by allowing some of their eBay sales to be donated to charitable organizations. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Infopia develops custom enhancements for online marketplaces and search engines, including eBay, Amazon, Overstock.com, Shopping.com, Yahoo! and Google.
