FSMLabs Sells RTLinux
New Mexico-based FSMLabs has sold the intellectual property for its real time operating system RTLinux, to Wind River Systems. Wind River Systems said this morning that it has acquired the patents, copyrights, tradmarks, and associated product rights to RTLinux, along with future runtime revenue streams for the Linux software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RTLinux is a real time operating system (RTOS) used by software developers to implement software designs, based on the Linux operating system.
