Salt Lake City, Utah-based Silex Technology America, a developer of embedded products, USB devices servers, and printer servers, said today that it has appointed Hubbert Smith as President. Smith will oversee the firm's operations in Salt Lake City, and Orange County, California. Smith has served at Western Digital, where he was most recently Director of Enterprise Marketing, and also at Intel.
