Boulder, Colorado-based Umbria has rolled out a new, blog analytics and reporting platform, the company announced Monday. Umbria said that its new Accent analytics platform mines blogs, message boards, chat rooms and other public forums to get feedback for its customers. The company said that the company's analytics and reporting platforms explores topics in the blogosphere and identifies patterns and links between related communities and authors. The firm also said that its software classifies online posts, estimating gender and age. Umbria is backed by ArrowPath, Sequel Venture Partners, and Vista Ventures.
