Lindon, Utah-based DirectPointe, a provider of managed computing services, is in a new deal with GE Healthcare and Intermountain Healthcare, the company said today. DirectPointe announced this morning that it will provide Utah physicians and healthcare practices with the technology infrastructure for a medical practice management and electronic medical records solution. The solution combines GE's Centricity Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records software with DirectPointe's technical infrastructure, and connects it into IHC's existing systems. The system will be offered at a reduced price to Intermountain Healthcare-affiliated medical groups. DirectPointe is backed by Canopy Group.
