CableLabs Qualifies Motorola Hardware
Lousville, Colorado-based CableLabs has qualified Motorola's CableCard M-Card product to its standards, saying Thursday that the hardware has passed its test for compliance with its specifications. The hardware is used for security systems for cable networks and retail consumer devices. CableLabs is a non-profit R&D consortium that works in certifying cable television standards and equipment.
