EchoStar, GetConnected Partner
Englewood, Colorado-based EchoStar, a provider of satellite television services, is working with GetConnected, a provider of DSL marketing services, to cross-promote DSL and EchoStar's DISH network services. The firms said this morning that the companies will embed GetConnected's transacation processing platform for the sale of digital services into EchoStar's reseller portal. GetConnected provides an online platform that connects consumers with DSL providers; the new deal means resellers who are signing up customers for EchoStar's DISH service can also connect those customers with a DSL connection. Terms were not disclosed.
