Broomfield, Colorado-based OpenLogic launched a new program to pay experts who provide support for Open Source software this morning. OpenLogic said that it would pay qualified experts within the open source development community to provide in-depth support for projects. OpenLogic said that the program would allow it to provide support for resolving more complex issues, beyond the tier 1 and 2 support the firm already provides for open source products. OpenLogic said it currently provides enterprise support for over 150 products. The new program is open to committer level members of open source projects. The company is backed by Appian, Highway 12 Ventures, Red Rock, UV Partners, and Village Ventures.
