Starz In Marketing Deal With HP
Englewood, Colorado-based Starz Entertainment Group has inked a new agreement with personal computer maker HP to promote its new Vongo video download application. Starz said today that HP customers will receive a one month, unlimited trial subscription to its video download service in a bundle with HP and Compaq Presario notebooks. The promotion will start this spring on the HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario line. Financial terms were not disclosed. Starz recently launched the video download service, which offers a monthly subscription and pay-per-view titles. Starz has content deals inked with major hollywood studios for first-run and library titles.
