EA Funds USC Video Game Camp Scholarship

Electronic entertainment firm Electronic Arts this week announced that it is funding a scholarship for a female student to the University of Southern California's summer program for video game designers. The camp, organized by USC's Viterbi School of Engineering, teaches students how to design video games. The firm said that its inagural camp last summer for high school students did not have any female students. The scholarship includes free admission to the camp, room, and board and gives students three college credits for successfully completing the program. Deadline to apply is May 15th.
